IoT Careers: Assistant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated, enterprising problem-solver to serve as Assistant Operations Manager in a fast-paced startup environment. This role requires a technically-capable and organizationally-sound individual to deliver high quality products, on budget, and on schedule.

Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Coordination of Contract Manufacturing resources for surface mount Printed Circuit Board (PCB) fabrication and “box-build” assembly of core and custom development products
  • Inventory Management
  • Logistics, customer order fulfillment, processing returned merchandise
  • Contribute to the development of new products, including aspects of mechanical design and production specification
  • Implementation of quality assurance and control (QA/QC) processes
  • Specification and implementation of manufacturing test protocols
  • Product certifications including FCC and UL
  • General project management

Skills and Capabilities:

  • Engineering/Technical background
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience with implementation of QA/QC programs
  • Experience with development and implementation of scalable internal organizational processes
  • Familiarity with Linux, high-level programming (especially Python), serial communications (preferred)
