Hospitals are looking into implementing technology in their rooms that can identify which equipment has been used in the room and also identify which doctors and caregivers have provided care in those rooms.
The main goal of smart hospitals is to provide patients with a better experience in the hospital. Although it is always fascinating to have the latest technology, that priority should not be forgotten. Having technology that can help staff focus on patient care can also give patients the ease of mind that they went to the right place.
