When Businessweek called us to talk about the Internet of Things, we were, of course, pretty excited. Because the IoT is what gets us fired up. We are convinced that being able to gather more data from more places gives us the ability to solve more problems. Not just engineering for the sake of engineering, but actually solving life problems.

He was also the VP of Engineering at the network security company, Lookingglass, and served for eight years as a submarine officer in the U.S. Navy. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and received his Master’s Degree from Oxford University.
